The Cube Aim SLT Hardtail Mountain Bike – 2027 is a versatile hardtail with a lightweight aluminium frame, Shimano 1×12 gearing and a high-grade XT rear derailleur. Its wide 10-51T cassette gives you plenty of range for steep climbs and faster sections. A 100mm Suntour air fork adds control on rough trails, while Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping power. Schwalbe 2.25in tyres add grip without making the bike feel slow.Key Features and Benefits:Shimano 1×12 drivetrain with XT rear derailleur: The Shimano Deore shifter controls an XT RD-M8200-SGS Shadow Plus rear derailleur across a wide 10-51T cassette. The single-chainring design keeps gear changes simple and gives you a broad range for climbs and faster trails. Shimano’s Shadow Plus system also helps control chain movement on rough ground for quieter, more secure shifting.SR Suntour XCM Disc Air fork with 100mm travel: The air spring can be adjusted to suit your weight and preferred level of support. Its 100mm travel helps absorb bumps and improves front-wheel control on uneven trails. A remote lockout lets you firm up the fork from the handlebar when suspension movement is not needed.Shimano hydraulic disc brakes: Shimano BR-MT200 and UR300 hydraulic brakes use 160mm rotors to provide smooth and predictable braking. Hydraulic pressure reduces the hand force needed at the lever and gives you better control over braking power. This makes it easier to manage speed on loose surfaces and steeper sections.Schwalbe Racing Ray and Racing Ralph 2.25in tyres: The Racing Ray front tyre provides dependable steering grip, while the Racing Ralph rear tyre balances traction with low rolling resistance. Both use Schwalbe’s Addix Performance compound and a 2.25in width. The result is a tyre set that supports confident handling without adding excessive drag.Aluminium Lite frame with internal cable routing: The heat-treated 6061 aluminium frame uses double-butted tubes to balance strength with low weight. A tapered head tube adds stiffness around the front of the bike for more precise steering. Internal cable routing keeps cables protected and gives the frame a clean finish, with routing also provided for a future dropper post.Size Split wheels with tubeless-ready ACID EX25 rims: XS and S frames use 27.5in wheels, while M, L and XL frames use 29in wheels. This keeps the wheel size in proportion with the frame and helps provide balanced handling across the size range. The ACID EX25 rims are also tubeless ready, giving you the option to run a tubeless set-up in the future. The Aim SLT is suited to riders who want one hardtail for trail riding, fitness and regular off-road use. Its wide gearing and air fork make it capable on varied terrain, while the frame gives you scope to adapt the bike over time. Dropper post routing, a kickstand mount and compatibility with Cube’s Semi-Integrated Carrier add useful upgrade options without changing the bike’s core trail-focused design.Choose the Cube Aim SLT if you want straightforward Shimano 1×12 gearing, adjustable air suspension and dependable hydraulic braking in a practical aluminium hardtail. Its component package gives you the control and range needed to build confidence and cover more varied terrain.Size Guide:X-Small: 4’10” – 5’2″Small: 5’2″ – 5’6″Medium: 5’6″ – 5’10″Large: 5’10” – 6’1″X-Large: 6’1″ – 6’4″
