“Marin Alcatraz 1 26″ Jump Bike – 2026” – Blue Green, Short

The Marin Alcatraz 1 26″ Jump Bike is a purpose-built dirt jump bike designed for strength, control, and progression on jumps, pump tracks, and park lines. Its Series 3 6061 aluminium frame delivers a strong yet light platform built for repeated impacts and hard landings. Short chainstays create quick lift and responsive manuals, while a suspension-corrected CrMo fork and fast-rolling Vee tyre XCV tyres maintain speed and stability through every section.Key Features and Benefits:Series 3 6061 aluminium frame: Carefully shaped aluminium tubing creates a frame that is strong enough for repeated jumps and harsh landings while remaining light enough for fast acceleration and precise handling. This balance of strength and low weight helps maintain speed between features and improves bike control when airborne.Short chainstay dirt jump geometry: Compact rear triangle dimensions place the rear wheel closer to the rider, which improves leverage when lifting the front wheel and initiating manuals. The result is quicker pop off lips, faster corrections in the air, and better control during technical jump lines.Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic rear disc brake: A hydraulic brake system delivers consistent braking force with minimal lever effort. This improves modulation and stopping control when setting up for jumps or adjusting speed on pump tracks, allowing precise speed management before take-off.Marin Series 2 CrMo suspension-corrected rigid fork: The chromoly fork is designed to match suspension geometry while maintaining the strength and stiffness of a rigid fork. This provides accurate front-end tracking, predictable landings, and a strong structure that resists flex during heavy impacts.Horizontal dropouts with Marin chain tension device: Adjustable horizontal dropouts allow precise chain tension when running the single-speed drivetrain. This keeps the chain secure under hard pedalling and repeated landings, which improves reliability and reduces maintenance.Vee tyre XCV 26 x 2.25 tyres with LSG compound: Fast-rolling tread and durable rubber compound provide strong grip on hardpack dirt and pump track surfaces. This maintains speed through rollers and berms while giving reliable traction when loading the bike into jumps.A dirt jump bike must combine durability with precise handling, and the Alcatraz 1 is built to deliver both. The strong aluminium frame and rigid CrMo fork create a stable platform that holds its line through pump sections and stays predictable in the air. Short chainstays improve lift and responsiveness, while the hydraulic rear brake allows accurate speed control before each jump. These details work together to support consistent progression on pump tracks, jump lines, and park features. The Marin Alcatraz 1 offers a reliable platform for riders who want a dedicated dirt jump bike that can handle regular sessions and steady skill progression. Its durable construction, responsive geometry, and simple single-speed setup keep the focus on riding rather than maintenance.Dial up or tone down the party vibes with two frame sizes – long or short. The short frame keeps you connected to your BMX roots, while the long frame offers a calmer ride and fits riders 5ft 11in or taller.Size – Rider height rangeShort: 5’1″ to 5’9″Long: 5’6″ to 6’3″
