The Marin Quake Full Suspension Mountain Bike – 2026 is a gravity-focused bike built for downhill tracks, bike parks and freeride use. Its Series 4 alloy frame combines 180mm of rear travel with adjustable geometry, while a 200mm RockShox BoXXer fork handles large impacts at the front. A mixed-wheel setup, powerful SRAM Maven brakes and a SRAM GX DH drivetrain complete a build made for steep and technical terrain.Key Features and Benefits:Series 4 alloy frame with adjustable geometry: The frame uses 180mm MultiTrac 2 suspension and lets you alter chainstay length and height. It can also accept either a 27.5in or 29in rear wheel. This gives you scope to adjust the bike for different tracks, wheel setups and handling needs.RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate DH rear shock: The 225x75mm coil shock has a custom tune for the Quake and uses size-specific spring rates. This helps the rear suspension manage repeated impacts while giving each frame size a suitable starting spring rate.200mm RockShox BoXXer fork: The dual-crown BoXXer provides 200mm of travel with a 20mm front axle. Its long travel helps control large hits and rough sections while the stiff front end supports accurate steering under heavy loads.29in front and 27.5in rear wheel setup: The larger front wheel improves rollover across rocks and braking bumps, while the smaller rear wheel gives extra clearance and easier direction changes. Schwalbe Magic Mary Gravity Pro Radial tyres add grip, with Ultra Soft rubber at the front and Soft rubber at the rear.SRAM Maven Silver four-piston brakes: Maven Silver hydraulic brakes use four-piston calipers with 200mm HSC rotors at both ends. This provides strong braking force and better control when speed needs to be reduced on steep or fast sections.SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain: The short-range downhill drivetrain pairs a GX DH rear derailleur and shifter with a 34T SRAM Descendant crankset and e*thirteen chainguide. It keeps the transmission focused on the gears needed for gravity riding while helping the chain stay secure through rough terrain. The Quake is built to give riders a stable platform when speed and terrain place high loads on the bike. Its 62.5° head angle supports confident steering on steep ground, while the 800mm PNW handlebar gives plenty of leverage. A direct-mount stem keeps the cockpit suited to downhill use, and downtube and shuttle guards add protection in areas that often take knocks during transport and riding. For riders focused on downhill tracks, bike park laps and demanding freeride terrain, the Marin Quake offers a purpose-built setup with long-travel suspension, adjustable geometry and gravity-specific components. Choose the frame size that suits your height and use the available setup options to match the bike to your preferred handling.Bike Size – Recommended Rider HeightS – 155-165cm / 5’1″-5’5″M – 165-182cm / 5’5″-6’0″L – 182-193cm / 6’0″-6’4″
