The Marin Rift Zone 2 Full Suspension Mountain Bike – 2026 is a trail-ready bike with 130mm MultiTrac suspension, a Series 3 aluminium frame, and a high-spec build that delivers control, traction, and durability at a strong value. Its suspension platform smooths rough terrain while keeping the ride responsive. A Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork and custom-tuned rear shock provide balanced support on varied trails. Shimano’s 12-speed Deore drivetrain ensures consistent shifting, while Maxxis tyres deliver grip and speed across changing conditions.Key Features and Benefits:MultiTrac suspension platform with 130mm rear travel: This suspension system uses a tuned linkage design to balance pedalling efficiency with bump absorption. It keeps the rear wheel tracking the ground over roots and rocks, improving grip and reducing energy loss. The result is better control on climbs and more stability on descents.Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork with 140mm travel: The Rail damper and stiff chassis manage impacts with consistent damping and front-end support. This reduces harsh feedback through the bars and keeps steering precise. You stay in control when the trail gets rough or fast.Series 3 6061 aluminium frame: This frame uses butted tubing and a strong structure to handle repeated impacts without excess weight. Internal cable routing and a chainstay protector reduce noise and wear. You get a durable, quiet ride that holds up to regular trail use.Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain with 10-51T cassette: A wide gear range and reliable shifting mechanism maintain smooth gear changes under load. This helps you manage steep climbs and fast sections without hesitation. The outcome is consistent pedalling efficiency across varied terrain.Maxxis Assegai MaxxGrip front and Minion DHR II MaxxTerra rear tyres in EXO+ casing: The front tyre uses a soft compound for maximum grip, while the rear balances traction and rolling speed. Reinforced EXO+ casings improve puncture resistance. This combination increases cornering control and reduces the risk of flats.Travel-adjustable dropper seatpost: The adjustable travel allows you to set saddle height to match your frame size and riding style. This improves positioning for climbing and descending. You gain better bike control and more efficient movement on technical trails. The frame geometry combines a 65.5-degree head angle with a short 430mm chainstay to balance stability and agility. This keeps the bike composed at speed while allowing quick direction changes on tight trails. The Boost hub spacing and tubeless-compatible rims add strength and improve tyre performance. Together, these features create a bike that maintains control, grip, and efficiency across mixed terrain. The Rift Zone 2 gives you a strong mix of suspension performance, dependable components, and trail-focused design. It is well suited to riders who want consistent handling and durability without moving into higher price tiers.Size – Rider height rangeXS: 5’1″ to 5’4S: 5’3″ to 5’6″M: 5’7″ to 5’10″L: 5’10” to 6’1″XL: 6’1″ to 6’4″
