The Scott Addict Gravel 40 Bike – 2027 is a carbon gravel bike built for mixed-surface riding, daily off-road use and bikepacking. Its HMF carbon frame combines responsive handling with comfort over rough ground. Shimano GRX 12-speed gearing provides a wide range for changing gradients, while 700x50C Schwalbe tyres add grip and control. Integrated storage and practical mounting points also make it well suited to longer rides.Key Features and Benefits:Addict Gravel HMF carbon frame: The HMF carbon construction balances low weight, stiffness and comfort for efficient riding on varied surfaces. Gravel-focused geometry keeps the bike stable over rough ground, while clearance for tyres up to 57mm gives scope to add more cushioning and grip.Shimano GRX 12-speed drivetrain: Shimano’s gravel-specific GRX system uses an RD-RX822 rear derailleur with a 40T single chainring and 11-45T cassette. The wide gear range helps with steep climbs while keeping the 1x setup simple, with no front derailleur to manage.Syncros Capital GR 25 AL II wheelset: These aluminium gravel wheels use 24 spokes at the front and rear to provide a strong platform for rough roads and off-road use. They support the wide tyre setup and help keep handling predictable when the surface becomes loose or uneven.Schwalbe G-One RX PRO Evolution 700x50C tyres: The wide 50mm tyres create a large contact patch for extra traction and control on gravel. Their volume also helps absorb small impacts and surface vibration, which supports comfort and stability on longer rides.Integrated storage and Syncros handlebar tool: Storage inside the downtube provides a secure place for essential repair items without adding an external bag. A tool is also stored at the handlebar, so key equipment remains easy to access while keeping the bike uncluttered.Syncros carbon and alloy components: A Syncros carbon seatpost works with the gravel-focused frame to help manage vibration at the saddle. The Syncros alloy handlebar and stem provide a solid cockpit for controlled steering across smooth roads, loose gravel and rough tracks. The Addict Gravel 40 is designed to stay useful as the type and length of ride changes. Its 57mm tyre clearance allows different tyre setups, while fork bottle-cage mounts add extra carrying capacity. A dedicated mount under the top tube also supports a frame bag. These details make it easier to prepare the bike for anything from short gravel rides to light bikepacking without adding complex equipment. For riders looking for one gravel bike that combines carbon construction, wide tyre capacity and practical carrying options, the Scott Addict Gravel 40 provides a well-rounded setup. Its GRX drivetrain and integrated storage make it ready for regular off-road miles and longer trips with minimal changes.Size Guide:Bike Size – Recommended Height RangeXS – 160-168cm / 5’3″-5’6″S – 165-174cm / 5’5″-5’9″M – 170-179cm / 5’7″-5’10″L – 175-184cm / 5’9″-6’0″XL – 180-189cm / 5’11”-6’2″
